The Vizsla dog breed is calm, firm and affectionate breed, well going with children, affordable with other canine at home but after socialization, challenging in housetraining due to its stubborn trait and self-sufficient. Younger kids would be at risk while in close vicinity due to its large size, supervising such events. Excellent runner needs extensive exercises to satisfy its physical and mental stimulation. The Vizsla dogs shed minimal but round the year, occasional brushing to remove dead hairs is satisfying, the dog is naturally well groomed.
Confined, cordoned and apartment living are not affordable for such energetic and lively breed. The dog needs a wider yard to exercise its activities.
As a puppy, they tend to shy or timid, socialize them in early age, mostly love swimming thus retrieving over land and in waters is the second application.
